If your company receives a negative review, we highly recommend that you respond to it in a professional manner. This is an opportunity for you to present your side of the story and showcase your commitment to resolving any issues. If necessary, we encourage you to contact the carrier directly to address any remaining concerns. In fact, resolving the issue with the carrier could potentially result in a revised review that is more favorable.

However, the most effective way to mitigate negative reviews is by balancing them out with positive ones. We suggest reaching out to your trusted business partners and asking them to leave a review on your company's DAT Directory page. You can even include a direct link to your page in your email signature or rate confirmation sheets to increase visibility. By doing so, you can demonstrate to potential customers that your business is highly regarded in the industry.

To get the direct link to send carriers to leave a review on your company:

  1.  Click the Manage Reputation tab at the top of your company’s DAT Directory page
  2. Then click the Reviewers tab below that. 
  3. Copy and paste the link into your email messages, rate confirmation, etc. 

To maintain the integrity of the Company Review system, reviews cannot be removed, only overwritten. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes you.
