By default, Power Only and Intermodal are not selected. To include them:
- Go to the Equipment Type section on the right side of the filter panel.
- Select Power Only or Intermodal to add them to your analysis.

Benchmark Rate Comparison
While individual results will vary, here are example insights based on previous contributor data to help guide your analysis:
Contributor Data Insights
To support your analysis, we’ve summarized some high-level findings based on contributor data:
- Intermodal:
In prior analyses, contributed Intermodal rates have often been lower than Van broker-to-carrier spot rates. These rates typically reflect door-to-door pricing, which may include drayage and rail portions of the move. - Power Only:
Historical contributor data has shown that Power Only rates can trend slightly higher than Van spot rates, though this depends heavily on specific freight and lane characteristics.
These examples are intended as general reference points. For the most accurate insights, we recommend running your own comparisons using your selected filters and market segments.
Use Cases and Opportunities
These equipment types can be helpful when:
- Analyzing historical trends
- Comparing carrier performance
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities
(e.g., if Intermodal is consistently more expensive than Van, consider recommending a switch for certain lanes.)
