On Rateview, you can choose whether you want to show rates as per mile or per trip (flat rate). Simply click on the gear icon (upper-right corner). On the window that opens up, click on SETTINGS. Under Show rates as, you can select Per mile or Per trip
Lanes under 250 miles will always display a per trip rate. You can use the Rate Calculator to quickly find the rate per mile for these lanes. For example, when trying to find the rate from Houston TX to Dallas TX (241 miles trip) for Dry Van. The Broker-to-Carrier Spot is displaying a per trip rate of $765 even after changing the settings to show rates as per mile
